The cylinder of the mixer is composed of two cones at both ends and a cylinder (or two pyramids and one prism) in the middle. As shown in the figure, it is also a widely used mixing equipment. When the drive device drives the drive shaft to rotate, the conical cylinder rotates with it, and the materials in the cylinder form the up-and-down rolling motion in the drum mixer. At the same time, due to the conical structure in the cylinder, the material is forced to move up and down between the axes, and the material changes repeatedly, resulting in the longitudinal and transverse uniform mixing.
The mixer is suitable for powder mixing with particle size and apparent density close to each other, and the loading coefficient is 0.3-0.5. A forced baffle can be added in the cylinder of the double-cone mixer to strengthen the mixing effect and application range of the double-cone mixer. Due to the special shape of the biconical mixer, a jacket can be added outside its cylinder to inject cooling medium or hot medium. The cylinder can be operated under normal pressure or vacuum, which shows that the mixer has multiple applicability.
Equipment composition:
